I love running, but it has always been a challenge. Today, Dr. Paul Salinas @drpsalinas evaluated my running gait using a technology called OptoGait. Since we are at the beginning of our plan to improve my movement, he has incorporated this technology to get a baseline on how I move, so we can compare it with future tests to measure my progress. In addition to other tests he uses to track my gait, the OptoGait gives us real-time data on the asymmetries that occur when I run. With this information, he and my trainer @thebestdamntrainer are putting together a corrective exercises program to address my mobility and stability issues.
