Between the Goblin and tomorrow’s monster, we’re lightening up the mood a bit! Chihiro Hashi the Art Designer shares the art of the chocobo. The chocobo was designed to be a sweet, much loved partner on the player’s journey through FFXV. We would be so happy to see everyone out there showering him with affection.
One of the most difficult points in perfecting the design was getting the right level of stylization to give a realistic avian appearance but also have those loveable touches that stop it from just being a big bird.
ハロウィンまであと少し！少しモンスターは休憩して、チョコボ/Chocoboをご紹介します。デザイナー橋さんは、#FFXV の旅のお供として愛されるかわいい相棒になるようデザインしたそうです！モデラー野田さんによると、実は鳥類は野生と飼育されているものを比べると野生の方が方が大体毛並みが綺麗なんですよ！なのでこのチョコボは飼育されているというのを意識してすこ～し毛並みを散らしています。
