Amalia García Moreno knows firsthand the hardships children and families face in seeking care and support in their battles against pediatric cancer. After her son went through treatment, Amalia founded Casa de la Amistad to make high quality care and support more accessible for underprivileged families. Now, over 25 years later, the foundation is helping hundreds of families each year while helping to increase the childhood cancer survivor rate in Mexico.
