Charlize Theron by Randall Slavin. We shot this out at the old Bagdad Cafe in the middle of the California desert. I had this idea of this woman traveling cross-country who's car breaks down and she never leaves and creates a make believe world for herself complete with her adopted fake children. Ideas like this are a lot easier to pull off when you have someone with Miss Therons talent. I was the last one to leave the location after an extremely long day out in the desert and had the pleasant gift of a dead battery in my car. Good times. Without a doubt the most well known picture I've ever taken. #charlizetheron
