Hey everypawdy,
As some of you might know, Tyler (above) has always just barely tolerated William (kitty in my previous post) but it's limited to Ty stalking Willy and not cat fights/fur flying or anything of the sort anymore.
In the past week, however, Tyler has been extra aggressive towards William - he's been screaming SO loudly when he confronts William, but this only happens at the front door when it's opened - and I'm just wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that the smell of the neighbor's dog next door seems to be getting stronger, ie. I can actually smell their dog from inside my unit.
Could Tyler be confusing William's scent with the dog's and thus leading to the increased hostility?? It's been extremely stressful for the other cats and us humans, and I plan to keep our door closed all the time until I can figure out what the problem is and how to solve it. If anyone has any suggestions or knows why, please let me know below? We have the Feliway spray but I'm not sure it's enough this time.
