Digging in the archives I found an image from one of my first rolls of film and my first major expedition 16 years ago in the Charakusa Valley, Karakoram, Pakistan. At the time, I had know idea where photography would end up taking me and all the people it would connect me with. For these things I am always grateful....At the end of the day, one can only hope that people will be inspired to put down their phones, get outside, and enjoy the grand natural world out there. There's much to learn, love, protect and appreciate in the wild places of our planet. So, get out and keep it wild. @thephotosociety
