Though Cézanne and #FranciscoOller painted outdoors together in the early 1860s and employed similar loose brushstrokes in their paintings, their pictorial styles diverged by 1885. As Cézanne was experimenting in proto-Cubist styles, Oller continued to organized his compositions around the Renaissance framework of single-point perspective.
