Word just reached us that seems to suggest that Sheffield's excellent DIY spot has finally been demolished as the land it sits on has been sold to a developer. Massive respect to all those in the Sheffield scene who contributed to this place - you know who you are. Crazy to think that a bit of waste ground became such a famous spot that skaters from all over the UK, and indeed 1000's of miles away, (like @mxmxs and #yamato from ?? as seen here along with @roncalow) came to sesh. This place lasted a good 5/6 years and has generated a lot of rad footage/photos and good times. Keep your ? peeled for some more #sheffdiyspot memories soon. #keepbuilding #sheffieldskateboarding #sidewalkmag
