OUT Magazine recently released their annual list of the 100 most compelling LGBT people of the year. I am so proud of all the people on this list but wanted to highlight some of the honorees who have deeply inspired me. --------------------------------------------------- From left to right. --------------------------------------------------- 1. Subhi Nahas: an advocate for LGBT refugees, who fled his ISIS-controlled hometown in Syria and became a voice for the international LGBT movement. 2. Sarah Kate Ellis: President and CEO of GLAAD, who appeared, with her wife, on the cover of the issue of TIME magazine about marriage equality. She boldly advocates for the LGBT community and uses her bravery and heart to spearhead GLAAD's efforts to achieve full equality. 3. Hannah Hart: a YouTube star, who uses her platform not only to entertain her millions of followers but also, through her comedic and influential voice, to inspire people to be proud of who they are and to live authentic lives. 4. Raymond Braun: named one of Forbes "30 under 30." As a former Google employee, he launched groundbreaking LGBT themed viral campaigns. He now works with the biggest human rights organizations to effectively use new media to create social change. 5. Joe Zee: current Editor-in-Chief of Yahoo style. Zee became the first gay Asian man to host a national daytime talk show, FABlife, which currently airs on ABC. He recently released a best-selling memoir titled "That's What Fashion Is." Check it out-it's FABulous! ? 6. Alex Newell: played the trailblazing role of transgender teen Wade on the hit TV show GLEE. His phenomenal voice was featured on the show and he continues to perform at LGBT events all over the world. --------------------------------------------------- I encourage you to visit OUT.com to learn more about all of the individuals selected for this honor! #OUT100
