This picture appropriately expresses how I'm feeling today, my last day of preparation before I head to Long Beach to compete for the Miss California USA 2016 crown! There is something so special about feeling your hard work, passion, and dedication pay off and I know that regardless of the outcome I am so proud of where I am in my life today and so grateful to everyone who has supported and loved me endlessly through my journey to follow my dreams, which I know can be completely wild?
I have learned that if we can prevail through all of life's adversities and come out the other end a better, more balanced person then we can create a life for ourselves beyond what we could have imagined! There is a bright and beautiful light within all of us and I am so thankful for the experiences in my life that have given me the courage to let mine shine!
I have to say thank you to my beautiful & kind trainer @nikolklein for making me fall in love with working out and for making sure I am bikini ready this weekend!
@pageantsmart for sharing your oh so intelligent brain with me and for showing me that knowledge is power and that no one can take that away from you!
@makeupbymaskara @dancershalyn for teaching me so many new things, for making sure I will look and feel beautiful all weekend, and for reminding me to be myself because who I am is already good enough!
