The Magical Lights. Every year I take my son to see this incredible display of Christmas lights, which is in a random neighborhood but has made local acclaim and is just for the sake of spreading cheer as well as raising funds for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (text LIFE to 50333 to donate $10 to St. Jude). The video does not do it justice at all. It is the most beautiful display of lights that I've ever seen in a residential area. And there is Christmas music playing the background softly every time we go. My son's response is the best. It brings me back to that childlike place where wonder and joy so easily spring up and where nothing else can distract from it.
