Dmitry Balakirev's (@dimabalakirev) shot of a circulation of sheep in Kazakhstan is among TIME's pick of most beautiful photos taken by drones this year. "I wanted to take pictures of sheep," he says on SkyPixel, a new site hosted by Drone company DJI (djiglobal). "But they were afraid and began to spin." The photo is one of many aerial shots entered in what DJI calls the world's biggest aerial photography contest, with a grand prize worth nearly $10,000. It's hosted on their new site, SkyPixel.
