Reality time: I just wanted to post a pic of what five days postpartum really looks like. It is not a glossy airbrushed People magazine photo shoot. It is hair you can't get a brush through from hormonal night sweats, leaky sore boobs, little leftover kangaroo pouch, and bags under your eyes. And you know what? Not only is it okay, it's totally, completely, 100% worth it. Every time I get woken up by my perfect little babe, I am overwhelmed with gratitude at how worth it it is.
