Sylis Alonso, 2, and his mother, Heather Weiss, picked up a "Charlie Brown" #Christmastree earlier today in #Harlem. In need of hooks for Sylis’s ornaments, the two approached Adam Mitchell, who was working at a tree stand at the intersection of St. Nicholas Avenue and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. The photographer @samuelhodgson spent a few hours there with Adam, who comes to New York from Vermont every year to sell trees during the holidays — 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. "I love being able to look around at all the apartment buildings around me and saying 'I know that tree,'" Adam told @samuelhodgson. #?
