Technology is amazing isn't it? While out filming @bigwaterbandit in Iceland we got the idea to mount a prototype 101 megapixel camera from @phaseonephoto on our @freeflysystems drone, fly it over the top of a waterfall, and trigger the camera at the right time using an app I had just downloaded to my phone. The rain held off, and I nailed my timing for the single shot -- and most importantly we didn't crash in the gusty wind! Everything about it would have been impossible a couple years ago...

Technology, whether it's a new camera, a drone, or a cool app alone doesn't make you a better photographer. But if it can help bring your ideas to light or perhaps keep that creative fire in you burning strong I say welcome it with open arms. @phaseonephoto announced the release of that camera today... I'm sure it's going to cost a pretty penny, but I'm already dreaming about ways I could put that resolution to good use. #fuelthecreativefire
