This is Brody. He was in the front row and I randomly invited him to jump on stage at my show the other day to sing Sound Of Sunshine. Afterwards I met him and his mom and she told me that he's an awesome big brother to a sister who has cancer and has gone through over 150 rounds of chemo and radiation. It's super challenging so they decided to take the whole family on an amazing adventure to Asia. When they heard I was playing in Bali he and his mom hopped a flight here to come to the show, some special mom and son time for a boy who is often patiently and supportively waiting on the side when so much energy is required for his sister's health needs. After the show I invited them to stop by Soulshine for breakfast and a swim, we walked through the rice fields and he took a turn harvesting and pounding rice and did a bit of singing with me. You rock Brody, you're a great kid and an awesome brother!!!
