年明け早々UFC5戦目が決まりました！！
2/21(日本時間2/22)UFCピッツバーグ大会。
相手はUFCフェザー級8位デニス・バミューデス。
UFCと契約以来一番の強敵でしょう。
今回はデニスの対戦相手を探していた所、たまたまタイミング良く自分が試合をアピールしたという感じでしょうか。
タイミング的には前回の試合から2ヶ月と短いですが、自分の都合の良い日程で自分の望む対戦相手と戦える程甘い世界じゃありません。
37歳にして2ヶ月の試合期間、そしてランキング8位のデニス・バミューデス。
自分自身への挑戦です。
『踏み出す、傷つく。だけど踏み出す』
一歩踏み出したならあとは前に進むだけ。
2016年も攻め続けます！！！

Fight Announcement!

Dennis "The Menace" Bermudez is scheduled to fight Tatsuya Kawajiri at #FightNightPittsburgh on February 21st.

Bermudez (14-5), one of the top featherweights in the world, is coming off two straight losses to elite opponents Jeremy Stephens (at UFC 189 in July) and Ricardo Lamas. The Long Island, N.Y., resident owns wins over Max Holloway and Clay Guida. Bermudez, 29, and Stephens competed in one of the best fights of 2015, with Stephens winning via third-round flying knee knockout.

Kawajiri (35-8-2) is no stranger to wars himself. The Japanese MMA legend remains a high level 145-pounder after 16 years in the sport. Kawajiri, 37, has won two in a row and eight of his last nine bouts. In the UFC, he has won three of four. Kawajiri competed for PRIDE, DREAM, Shooto and ONE Championship before signing with the UFC in 2013.
