The pack is crossing through an area with several trap lines just outside the borders of the Park, where there are no buffer zones to protect the animals from hunters. Trapping and shooting wolves is a fairly common practice in Alaska. Photographed on assignment for a story on Denali that just came out in @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine this weekend!
