Introduced by Heuer in 1958, the unique Ring-Master stopwatch used seven interchangeable rings to facilitate timing of different events.  Individual rings were calibrated for traditional 60 minute / 60 second timing, as well as measuring speed and production per hour, oar strokes and revolutions per minute, medical functions (respirations and pulsations per minute), and boxing matches. Heuer even provided one blank ring that the owner could calibrate personally. The Ring-Master provided tremendous versatility, at its $65.00 retail price.
