TRYING A (SEMI-)RAW DIET:

For tonight's dinner, I mixed one 400g can of Fussie Cat's "Fresh Sardines and Chicken" with 210g raw chicken breast (human grade; cut into bite-sized chunks) and a raw egg beaten in - see top right.

Result: Everypawdy tucked into the canned food + raw chicken/egg mix except William, who left half his portion of raw chicken in his bowl, and Rochelle, who wouldn't even touch her food until I removed the chicken! The cats in the video montage (counterclockwise from top left) are: Hermès, Uno-James, William and Tyler.

Verdict: Overall, a success! Most of the #?Squad seem to relish the texture (and flavor?) of raw chewy chicken. Tyler and Pudding also licked up the residual beaten egg in the mixing bowl, so I guess that's pretty tasty too..? What's next: This weekend, I may try adding chicken liver and raw egg to their canned food so we'll see how that goes!
