Steeple Jason, which was donated to The Wildlife Conservation Society in the 1990s, is a perfect example of what happens when you protect habitat. With no rats and no sheep, Steeple and the adjacent Grand Jason have thrived. During this austral summer, over 400,000 albatross and countless chicks line the shoreline of this temperate sea paradise.
