"30 January 1996…" [Today marks 20 years since Total released their self-titled debut album. The album contains 15 tracks of goodness. Songwriting and production team involved were Sean "Puffy" Combs, Rashad "Ringo" Smith, Chad "Dr Suess" Elliott, Chucky Thompson, labelmate Faith Evans, Terri Robinson, Stevie J, Vincent Herbert, Rheji Burrell of NuGroove, an earlier produced song by The Neptunes, and Jean-Claude "Poke" Olivier of Trackmasters to name a few. The album introduced the trio's persona and image, which helped the group become memorable and would earn them their platinum status. To this day, this album has still stood the test of time and is one of their greatest efforts to date.
