Been with this guy 14 years today . 4 years of dating , 10 years of marriage , 2 kids ( twins) , moved cities twice , moved house 5 times , changed careers , 3 cats ,2 dogs , 4 world tours with The Strokes , launched 2 TV shows , raised a big daughter and a whole bunch more . We got here by not giving up at the same time . By working so damn hard individually and together on our respective " issues " of which there are many because we are human . By being honest and admitting when one of us was wrong or made a bad choice . By forgiving especially when you think you can't and by knowing that great love , like all things takes time and today time together is something we have & I can tell you being with one dude for so long is not something I thought I could do .
