Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders spent some time moonlighting as a rom-com guest star.

First, he played a friendly neighbor handing out Halloween candy in 1988's Sweet Hearts Dance, starring Susan Sarandon and Jeff Daniels.

Then, in 1999, he played a baseball-obsessed rabbi (pictured above) in My X-Girlfriend's Wedding Reception, starring Dom DeLuise and Debbie Gibson.
