RG @vinyl I'm a native New Yorker, and I lived through 1973. That's the biggest difference in recreating this time period, as opposed to the 1920s in Boardwalk Empire, or the 1870s in the Age of Innocence. I find that I have very strong opinions about the way things should look and sound. We were able to faithfully recreate the wildness of the period without toning anything down. - MS
