A good portion of the photos I shot of #HeathKirchart over the years have been late at night and the reason for this is Heath hated skating when people were milling about. We met at this hubba after midnight and once the lights were set up Heath tried his first noseslide but stuck and jumped down the second set and hit the ground pretty hard. He jumped up right away and proclaimed that he needed to take a shit and disappeared into the night while me and the filmer sat there perplexed (there wasn’t an open place with a bathroom anywhere close). Ten minutes later he reappeared with a smile on his face ready to skate and I didn’t question where he’d gone. After he landed the trick I asked him where the hell he went to take a dump and he excitedly led me to the spot.
