A sign reads ‘Hope Street' in the Grande Synthe Refugee Camp in Northern France, not far from the better known “Jungle” camp in Calais, but this one has more families in it. There are 2500-3000 refugees living here, and their hopes of a new life are reflected in the signage dotted throughout the camp.
