#WHPfirstlight asked community members to make images and videos as the sun was rising, capturing the first light of the day — like this one by 23-year-old student Mahardhika Perkasa (@mhrdhikadp) of Indonesia.
“I have insomnia lately, and while trying to make myself tired, I walked around with my camera and found this stunning scenery,” says Mahardhika, who took this image around 5:30 in the morning. “It rarely happens that there’s any fog in my city, so I didn’t have to think twice about snapping this photo.”
