To my immense shame and regret, I am only now learning of the passing of the great and talented costume designer #PatriciaNorris. I first met her on #AssassinationofJesseJames... and worked with her again on #12YearsASlave with the about to be discovered @ルピタ・ニョンゴ. Patricia was wry and unflappable, and I enjoyed her wit and our talks. Shockingly, she had a career before me, though, and designed for some of my favorite films: #TheElephantMan. #TheMissouriBreaks, #Frances, #Scarface, #DaysofHeaven, #HighAnxiety...and on. Frequent collaborator with #DavidLynch, she said, "My mind is odd, too, so we fit nicely. I don't find him strange. So there you go." Rest in peace.
