Happy #WomensHistoryMonth! Saturated shades of orange, pink and magenta contrast with the black vertical shapes and brushstrokes of this painting by Lee Krasner. In the 1950s, frustrated by negative reviews of their work, Krasner began recycling paintings both she and her husband Jackson Pollock had made in order to create new collages out of the fragments.
