Seattle has been calling my name for some time. So I recently headed west & brought my colored pencils along for the ride! My first stop was Kerry Park to see the beautiful Seattle skyline. After a solid hour of sketching inspiration I headed straight to Pike Place Market. I found the perfect spot to set up shop at the Starbucks on 1st & Pike, overlooking the ever-so-loved Public Market sign. The cobblestone streets were filled with the hustle & bustle of morning commuters, while my cup was filled with the comfort of a morning treat. Often, when I travel, coffeeshops become my art studio. I always feel at home as long as I have my art supplies & a cup of coffee next to me. Needless to say, I felt right at home in Seattle. I simply can’t wait to go back!
