His eye is healing, but I can feel something is still not okay with Butters. I spend every second of the day with him and he isn't the same dog as before. Maybe he blames me for not protecting him because I'm his alpha? I pick him up to bed, but it feels like he doesn't need me anymore. He seems distant. I have to force him to play. Perhaps time will bring back my smart, fearless, happy little guy.
