the chickens are awake now before I am - and the hen house is a much livelier place in the bright spring sunlight - instead of sleepy eyed hens I am met with a dozen eggs or so each day and a group of ruckus birds - their convivial chatter keeps me company through the morning - a soundtrack to accompany daily life here
