Face time... I think the biggest problem we are facing today is it is too easy for anyone to have a voice. Anyone can spew anything they want and have it seen and heard by the masses. The more offensive the, more hits it will get. Now I would be willing to wager these feelings & opinions would be drastically different if the person they were directed towards was in the same room. Black Lives Matter, Syrian Refugees, Trump is Hitler, Obama is Isis and so on and so on. Example: So if Black Lives in Fact did not matter? Then a black kid laying in the street bleeding and begging for help in the middle of a suburban white neighborhood. Would be ignored because he was black. I'm calling bullshit on that theory. If a Syrian mother and child showed up on your door step begging for shelter? You wouldn't help them? Nope. If Donald Trump came to your school and wanted to make a donation to buy some computers? You would turn it down because you read he was racist on Twitter? Bullshit again. These theories all have the same thing in common. They don't hold up in the face to face world. In Iraq in 2005 I witnessed a Surgeon(volunteer) from George Washington University performing a Craniectomy on a Al Qaeda insurgent. I was shocked that he was in this field hospital receiving the same medical care as our troops. I asked the doctor if this was common. He said "Yes we're Americans, we help everyone". This really changed my outlook on life. So you have to realize that reading things and getting all fired up over these little attention getting blips. It's a waste of energy. The person that really wants to make an impact with their thoughts and opinions. Will spend 49¢ for a postage stamp. Articulate what they have to say on paper in a calm educated manor, so it is taken seriously. Lick that stamp and send it off. It's Not the the easy way, but very few meaningful things in life are #jessejames
