I'm still thinking about the loss of the wonderful Garry Shandling. I was incredibly lucky enough to be on The Larry Sanders Show early in my career. It was one of my best work experiences ever. I still remember not being able to sleep that night because I still had so much adrenalin. Garry was so much fun to be around - he lived close to my house + we have mutual friends as well. He was someone who made all of us think about what we were doing in life a little harder. A rare person in so many ways. I'm so sad that we won't have more surprising and brilliant moments of hilarity and introspection from him. I'm mourning the shared memories that one takes for granted in life... I'm thankful to have known him + our equally brilliant teacher Roy London. The world is less joyful without them both. I hope they are together somewhere.....
