Photo by @daviddoubilet A lions mane jellyfish patrols the cold shallows of Bonne Bay Fjord, Newfoundland. Bonne Bay is located within Gros Morne National Park, A World Heritage Site. The lions mane jellyfish are the largest species of jellyfish. The largest on record was 7 feet wide trailing 120 feet of tentacles. These giants prefer cold arctic and boreal waters and use stinging tentacles to capture prey. I love exploring Canada's Gulf of St Lawrence. Every dive reveals beauty and surprise.
