There Is A Difference Between Silkscreening , And Being A True Painter. ????NOTE THE DIFFERENCE???? I have been using silkscreening as a medium since 1997 and have been painting nearly my whole life , even before I could walk, I do what's been in my nature to do. This is in fact the difference of knowledge and a perfect knowledge of a art form.. Many of the large formate silkscreen images I employ in my work are extremely difficult to make work , the way I want them to. In a clutch "one shot" situation.. If it comes out wrong I strip the painting down to the wood or gesso and begin again... This is why you don't see Mulitibles of my work most of them are all original pieces, and if I do make Mulitibles they are 100% completely different. Anyone can take an image and feverishly repeat it into existence.. This is not difficult. Take a long look at this detail picture I just snapped it's extremely complex and nearly impossible to do.. I don't make these or print these out on a computer everything is done by my own hand.. Everything..
