The stunning arctic fairytale town of Tasiiaq in East Greenland. We flew here from Iceland and then planned to go by boat through ice-laden seas for more than 400 miles to the remote, ice-choked fjords. I have some very close friends in this town after being on 8 expeditions here. There are roughly 2,500 Greenlandic Inuit people, mixed with a few Danish, with hundreds of Greenlandic Huskies in residence. The 24-hour sun and huskies howling througout the midnight sunny days is an instant welcome to Tasiilaq. It really is one of the most beautiful towns I know of, with equally as friendly people. ? @MikeLibecki #TBT
