Miami Airport peace and love with my bestie?
Me, @orothschild @dennisfromsalad and the entire @109world team are on our way to Nicaragua for a momentous milestone in our lives: we are embarking on our very first mission trip! We’ll be spending the coming week in Playa Gigante on the west coast of Nicaragua together with a group of 50 people to implement a water system for a community that lacks access to clean drinking water. We are at the end of our $109WATER campaign that's amazingly enough raised over $40,000! Can you believe it?!? And yes, 100% goes directly to the cause. I AM SO PROUD OF WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED!
This mission trip will allow us to implement the system (i.e. we’ll be doing a lot of digging!) and see in-action exactly where every cent of what we have raised has gone. In addition to making a huge difference for people in need, we'll be practicing yoga every morning and get to experience the beauty of the Nicaraguan culture. It’s going to be absolutely magical!
A year ago @109world was just a dream I had, a longing to use my influence for good. Now here we are! Bags packed, at the airport, heading to a remote part of a beautiful country; using yoga to change the world.
