#Oracle launches Oracle Startup #Cloud Accelerator, a program designed to speed up the development of startups in India through technical, business, and financial mentoring. Oracle is now inviting India-based technology and “tech-powered” startups to apply for the program, whose six-month curriculum will include training and mentoring from both Oracle and outside experts. Oracle plans to extend the program to its centers in Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Trivandrum, and Vijayawada—and eventually to cities worldwide—in the coming years. "The goal is to make it extremely easy for people to access IT, and not just big companies, but every person who has an idea for business that can transform this country," said Oracle President Thomas Kurian at Oracle #CloudWorld in Mumbai. Participants in the program will benefit through cloud services, office space, and mentoring and advice.
