Quick Tip: We can train failure just as much as we train success. Be careful attempting a weight over and over while failing. We all want to benefit from muscle memory (proprioception) don't we? Then why are we still attempting weights we'll fail? In my experience, the body is quick to remember movements we create under fatigue or frustration. Example: ever miss a wait several times then finally reduce the load and miss that one too? Very frustrating. It's because we went too long missing that we practically lost the feeling of a make. So remember that muscle memory will develop from both good and bad movements, whichever is more frequent. Lower the weight significantly to reset your movement patterns or call it a loss and move on. It's not the end of the world, it's only an adjustment to training. Come back again another day. I know we all want to hit big lifts but we won't get there if our failed attempts outnumber our successful ones.
