Walking lunge + stationary lunge combo = the most intense quad pump ever!
If you haven't realized it yet, lunges are my favorite lower body exercise. I love how many variations you can do to hit different muscle groups!
I typically do my walking lunges with a larger emphasis on the glutes, but this variation is quad focused and INTENSE! Be sure to choose a weight that you feel comfortable with and keep your reps between 10-12 on each leg, or 20-24 total alternating.
This is not a pulse! Come all the way up and then back down into a stationary lunge! Slow and controlled then up through that front heel.
