Ended my visit to the Middle East with a tour of the Jaffa Old City. The distinctive steeple of St. Peter’s Church is a prominent landmark in Jaffa. For many pilgrims arriving in the Holy Land, the steeple would be one of the first things they see.

An interesting fact I learned about the church is that whereas most churches face east, St. Peter’s Church faces west towards the sea, towards Rome and the Vatican.

Am now on the way to the airport. Have had a productive trip, but am looking forward to coming home. – LHL (Photo by me)
