The exhibition 'Artek and the Aaltos: Creating a Modern World' has just opened at the Bard Graduate Center Gallery in New York!
Curated by Nina Stritzler-Levine, this is the first exhibition in the United States to examine Artek and the company’s principal architects and designers, Alvar Aalto and Aino Marsio-Aalto.
On view until 25 September 2016, the show features around 200 works - many never before exhibited - including architectural drawings, sketches for interiors and furniture, paintings, photography, furniture, glassware, lighting, and textiles.
Well worth a visit if you happen to be in New York!
