ALPINA x ICE LEGACY PROJECT EXPEDITION #DAY8 - "Bagley Icefield" -
DAY 8: Another great day on the ice. Woke up to towering mountains that floated in fogbanks before it all went misty again with the sun coming and going. It is still warm, just bellow freezing and we have some problems with snow and ice sticking underneath our skis and sleds slowing down progress. This was solved with using butter as ski wax and it actually worked quite well. We also got a couple of hours of sailing, or we walked with the sail up since the wind was very weak. Skied uphill most of the day towards a pass we have to cross to reach Bagley icefield which is the largest piece of ice on this icecap. 31014 steps done today with our Alpina Horological Smartwatch.
