I've always thought I didn't want to have children. And I was very content with that. When I met Freddy, together we shared the satisfaction of being the best Auntie and Uncle we could be. Well, recently I've been noticed children differently. The adoration between a mother, father, and child brings me to tears. How do I know if this is just a temporary feeling, or if my soul is telling me I want more? Especially when I keep hearing that at 37, I don't have much more time. (WORST pressure in the world btw. ?) So Freddy and I decided it would be wise to research what it involved in freezing my eggs, (oocyte cryopreservation), physically, mentally, emotionally, and even go as far as learn what type of side effects are involved towards the human body. So I wanted to open this convo up with our Real family of supporters because I am always going to be honest with all things in my life, especially learn and hear from those who've experienced it! Not every story is the same, and we want to educate ourselves before making any decision. Good news is I plan to spend my summer offering free babysitting!! ???Thank you to Tay, Tam, Ade, and Loni, and to everyone else for your support. Sitting here reading all of your thoughtful words and appreciate it tremendously.
