This happened to me a lot when I first came to the States. Always showed up way too early and always dressed completely inappropriate and wrong.
Thankfully my good friend @therealchrisspencer finally took me aside when I showed up at @ジェイミー・フォックス house wearing speedos and flip-flops, and let me in on the cultural phenomenon known as 'black people wear regular clothes to pool parties and they avoid going in the water at all cost'. Jamie gave me a pair of sweats and told me to blame it on the alcohol.
