Mint juleps and bow ties #kentuckyderby
Mint Julep
2 oz Bourbon
10-12 mint leaves
3/4 oz simple syrup (adjust depending on how sweet you want it)
In mixing glass muddle mint leaves and simple syrup, pour in bourbon and stir with bar spoon. Fill separate glass with crushed ice. Using a julep strainer pour the bourbon mixture over ice. Garnish with mint sprig and enjoy.
