At nearly 40 years old, and after almost a decade on the Bowery, the New Museum is preparing for its next step as a place of experimentation and a hub of new art and new ideas. Today, we're announcing the launch of a capital campaign that will support the expansion and growth of Museum programs and more than double our endowment. In addition, we'll renovate our adjacent property at 231 Bowery—doubling exhibition galleries, expanding education initiatives, improving circulation, adding more public amenities, and improving the visitor experience.
