Sometimes you have to be more than super to be No. 1. @lockheedmartin’s Sikorsky Aircraft unit is building a new helicopter for the U.S Marines: the next-generation CH-53K King Stallion. Last week, @geaviation unveiled the GE38, a brand new engine that will allow the CH53K to claim its spot as America’s largest and most powerful #helicopter. The enhanced #aviation machine will be able to carry as much as 27,000 pounds of external load, roughly equivalent to about 27 real-life stallions! #GE #avgeek
